Gary M. Wheeler
Mr. Wheeler is a native of Washington, D.C. He graduated from Wake Forest University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, after which he spent a decade as a high school history teacher and basketball coach. Mr. Wheeler relocated to Florida in 2007, and established roots in Central Florida. His last 6 years of teaching were with Orange County Public Schools at Freedom High School and Apopka High School. In 2019, he obtained his Juris Doctor degree, with Honors, from Florida A & M University College of Law.
Mr. Wheeler joined the law firm of Dean, Ringers, Morgan & Lawton, P. A. in 2019. He is a member of The Florida Bar, the American Bar Association, and the Orange County Bar Association. He concentrates his practice in Workers’ Compensation defense, general liability insurance defense, and civil litigation. He is admitted to practice in all trial and appellate courts in the State of Florida.
Mr. Wheeler serves his community through various civil and volunteer organizations and continues to coach youth basketball. He was awarded the Florida Athletic Coaches Association “Coach of the Year” award in Orange County in 2014.
