Alan D. Kalinoski


Mr. Kalinoski graduated from Western Illinois University in 1982 and worked as an insurance adjuster and a golf professional before entering law school.  He received his Juris Doctor from the John Marshall Law School in 1992.  He is Board Certified in workers compensation law and Martindale Hubbell has given him an AV rating, which is its highest rating. He lectures regularly on various insurance related topics throughout the State and specializes in the defense of workers compensation matters.  Prior to attending law school, Mr. Kalinoski served with the Deferred Prosecution program for the Lake County (IL) State Attorney’s Office.  Mr. Kalinoski is actively involved in various community service activities and has served in an ecclesiastic leadership position with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for nearly 20 years.

Mr. Kalinoski has served as workers compensation defense counsel for over 30 city, county and municipal entities.  He has litigated more than 25 workers= compensation cases involving the firefighter/police officer Presumption laws.

Mr. Kalinoski and his work on municipal workers compensation fraud has been featured on nationally syndicated news magazine television shows such as Inside Edition, Good Morning America, and other national news networks.

Mr. Kalinoski is a member of the Florida, Illinois and District of Columbia Bars.  He is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the Northern Illinois District, and the United States Supreme Court.  He is a member of the Florida Defense Lawyers’ Association, Defense Research Institute, Florida Association of Self-Insureds, and is a former member of the Professional Golfers Association of America.
