Courtney L. Tournade
A central Florida native, Ms. Tournade graduated with Honors from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Business Administration. She received her Juris Doctor with Honors from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. During law school, Ms. Tournade gained litigation experience working for various defense firms and the Alachua County Courthouse. Additionally, she was a litigation extern for the Florida Board of Governors Self Insurance Programs where she worked on sovereign immunity issues arising in cases brought against teaching hospitals located throughout Florida. Finally, Ms. Tournade spent a summer working with the firm of Dean, Ringers, Morgan & Lawton, P. A. as a law clerk, and joined the firm upon graduation as an Associate attorney practicing civil litigation.
She is a member of the Florida Bar and the Orange County Bar Association, and is admitted to practice in all Florida trial and appellate courts. She concentrates her practice in general liability defense.
