Meredith L. McAvoy

Ms. McAvoy graduated with honors from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in psychology and a minor in art history. She received a Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law where she served as editor and member of the executive board of the Journal of Law and Public Policy. While in law school, Ms. McAvoy served as a judicial extern for the Honorable John E. Steele at the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Ms. McAvoy is a member of the Florida Bar Association and admitted to practice in all Florida trial and appellate courts. She concentrates her practice in the area of workers’ compensation, and she also practices general civil litigation, representing various clients in personal injury and premises liability actions throughout the state of Florida. Ms. McAvoy is a member of The Judge William Wieland Inn of Court and has served on committees within the Young Lawyers Section of the Orange County Bar Association.
