This was a heavily litigated business litigation matter, involving complex claims of defamation, tortious interference, and a violation of Florida’s CADRA statute pertaining to claims of unauthorized use, harm or damage of Plaintiff’s website and social media platforms. In a nearly 3-week trial that overlapped with the COVID shutdown in March 2020, our team obtained a directed verdict in favor of defendants on the CADRA claims and a defense verdict in favor of some of the defendants on the remaining claims of defamation and tortious interference.
